Field trip

A quick shout-out to a blog worth reading. PJ flew in with me a few weeks ago. We've been here just over three weeks... and that makes us, well, not the newbies anyway. He's a young guy (nineteen, I believe) with a heart (and talent) for photojournalism. And that is his job here- to document with words and pictures life aboard the Africa Mercy. His pictures will tell more than my words ever will!

So go check out Africa in Focus.

  1. For the love of all things holy, tell those divers to close their mouths!!! Don't they know they can get hepatitis!?!

  2. I think the more pressing question is, how is hepatitis, cholera, and typhoid surviving in the water without a human vector??
